Separatory Funnel with PTFE Stopcock


Separatory funnels are used for liquid/liquid extractions and separations of non-soluble mixtures. The less dense liquid will move towards the top, while the denser liquid will move towards the bottom. This allows for draining of the separate liquids via the stopcock at the bottom.
