Adapter has a #7 Chem-Thread at the top for vacuum tight seal of plain stem thermo-meters or any other tube having an O.D. between 4 and 7mm. Supplied complete with a Celcon® compression cap and Viton o-ring. *Notice to customers: All units are inspected for broken glassware or parts before leaving BVV™. If the unit arrives damaged (this does not include minor imperfections or scuffs in glassware), the customer MUST contact BVV™ within 72 hours from carrier delivery to file a claim. Chemglass Flushing Airfree Adapter Similar to AF-0509 but having a top outer joint and lower inner joint of the same size. Addition of the outer joint permits use of the larger sizes of the CG-3022 septum stoppers for repeated needle penetrations. Adapter also allows for evacuation and transfer of product into another vessel with the same size standard taper joints. Double bank manifold available in 3port configuration. Forward facing 0-8mm Chem-Vac™ Chem-Cap® valves permit easy operation of manifold inside of a fume hood. Main ports are spaced 100mm center to center with an additional 2 ports on the upper bank that can be used for gauging or sealed with AF-0210 stoppers. All connection ports are #15 o-ring joint connections that incorporate a greaseless o-ring seal. Manifold is modular in design allowing the user tremendous flexibility in performing experiments. Adapters from #15 o-ring joints to standard taper components, serrated hose connections or 3/8" Cajon® fittings are available to allow the ports to be used with existing glassware.
