Borax

Borax Pentahydrate 5 Mol contains 5 fewer moles of water, making it more concentrated (approx. 15% boron), while 10 Mol (approx. 11.4% boron) is generally more soluble.  Borax 5 MOL has a wide range of uses because its more concentrated its used as a flux in ceramics, glass, and metallurgical welding, a detergent builder, water softener, agricultural nutrient, fire retardant, and preservative against fungi. At BVV we have a range of requests but most notably we see our 5 MOL borax being used in soldering and welding to prevent metal oxidation and promote, for example, the flow of molten metals and solder.  This product is made in USA.
