Monopersulfate | Non-Chlorine Shock

Oxone PS-16 Compound is used as an active ingredient in disinfectant formulations (not registered as a biocide in USA), and as an oxidizing agent in other formulations, such as pool & spa non-chlorine shock oxidizers, denture cleansers and laundry bleaches. The grade is also used as a wet strength resin paper repulping aid, metal surface treatment agent, selective oxidizer in chemical synthesis, wool shrink-proofing treatment, waste water treatment and odor control agent.

Applications:

  • Water Treatment: It can be used to treat water, including drinking water and pool & spa water, due to its ability to kill bacteria and neutralize contaminants.

  • Cleaning and Sanitization: It's used in various industrial cleaning products, especially for disinfecting surfaces or purifying air and water.

  • Oxidation Reactions: In chemical processes, Oxone PS-16 can be used as a strong oxidizing agent to break down pollutants or aid in chemical synthesis.
