What is a Jacketed Reactor? A reactor is a vessel that contains a chemical reaction, which opens them up for a variety of applications in the chemical processing field. It’s used as a tool for many different processes related to extraction, winterization, distillation, and post-processing. A reactor can come in different sizes, shapes, and forms. It can even come in different materials including stainless steel or glass. In terms of cannabinoid processing, the most common use for a reactor is large-scale winterization. Here, a single or double jacketed reactor is ideal. This is because it allows you to circulate fluid around the exterior or interior jacket, chilling the mixture inside. As the mixture becomes colder, the fats and waxes within it begin to coagulate and fall out of the solution. Reactors can also be used for homogenizing mixtures or as stand-alone extraction vessels. Glass reactors are only able to handle negative pressure which, in turn, limits their usability. Our 50-Liter Stainless Steel Jacketed Reactor is designed for usage with positive pressure. Additionally, the vessel jacket can circulate chilling fluid or act as vacuum insulation. These tanks feature an exterior jacket to allow the user to circulate fluid around the outside of the tank while having an internal condensing coil on the inside of the tank to help condense hot vapors. Lids come configured with 3 valves, compound gauge and hose barbs for the internal condensing coils to help condense hot solvent vapor when the recovery stage of the extraction process is started. These tanks come with 1/4" FNPT valves and 1/4" 37 Degree JIC Flares with one port being connected to a dip tube. To avoid contamination of your solvent, the Jacketed Stainless Steel LP Tank is a simple and professional option to reduce cleaning time. Our tri-clamp lid with a high-pressure clamp makes it easy to open up the system and fully clean it out in between uses. The exterior jacket circulates fluid around the outside of the tank which the internal condensing coil condenses hot vapors. These tanks come with 1/4" FNPT valves and 1/4" (or 3/8") 37 Degree JIC Flares with one port being connected to a dip tube. 2" Footmaster Leveling Caster Ivory This ingenious product combines the mobility of a caster, the height adjustability of a level mount, and the stability of a foot pad. The GD Series leveling caster profile is integral to its function. A thick aluminum frame is used to achieve the combination of being both strong and compact. The swivel section contains 2 sets of ball bearings for easy maneuverability. Bearing raceway sleeves made from hardened steel prevent scouring to the aluminum frame, leading to high performance and dependable reliability. Moving is easy thanks to a 50 mm diameter wheel mated with an axle shaft made of cold forged steel. And once positioned, the caster provides side access to an ABS thermoplastic thumbwheel used to lower the foot pad. As the wheel is lifted off the ground, the foot pad takes over to make the application completely stationary. Making the fine adjustments to achieve the perfect level set, even under heavy loads, is light work for this world renowned leveling caster. BVV Neoprene Insulation Sleeve's Our Insulation sleeves are made from 3mm durable Neoprene Scuba Fabric and has a rated insulation value of R 1.5 These sleeves are 90% polyester and 10% spandex which makes all of these a snug fit around the spools. The material weighs in at 350 grams per square meter and has a smooth finish and a double stitched side seam. The sleeves can be easily cut with scissors and modified to add custom cutouts. The sleeves are also reversible and the inside color is black. Note: *Customers who order De-Wax or Fully Jacketed spool sleeves will not have pre-cut holes for the side ports. But fear not this material cuts very easily with sharp cutting tools, and you can easily add the small holes for these ports. BVV's Tested Temperatures: -80°C to 105°C (-112°F to 220°F) we have not tested beyond these temperature, it doesn't mean it not capable its just untested by BVV.
